Celebrate the Fourth of July early in Daytona Beach. Join us for a Freedom Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 29, on Manatee Island, 355 N. Beach St. Activities will kick off with a veteran’s ceremony at 10 a.m., followed by family-friendly games, food trucks and music. Free meals will be provided to all veterans. The pre-Fourth of July festivities are sponsored by Zone 4 City Commissioner Stacy Cantu, Riverfront Esplanade and Humana. The Freedom Festival replaces the city’s annual Fourth of July parade on Main Street.
